Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Veritas is built to know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what we do and do not collect, and how the parts that touch your data work.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Third-party processors

To deliver the service, your requests are processed by upstream providers, including model-inference providers, a web-search provider, infrastructure, and on-chain payment verification. We pass along only what is necessary to fulfill a request. Those providers handle data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. If end-to-end confidentiality from every party matters to you, keep that in mind.

Local storage

The app uses your browser's local storage to keep your session, theme, and (unless you sync) your conversation history. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Payments

Plan upgrades are paid in USDC on the Base network. Blockchain transactions are public by nature; the wallet address you pay from is visible on-chain. We record only that a payment for a plan occurred.

Data requests and deletion

Because we store so little, there is little to retrieve. You can regenerate or delete your API key from your account at any time, which detaches your usage record. To delete your account record, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
